Definitely one of the biggest music stories in recent months was the first ever tour of the big four of thrash. For the uninitiated, the big four consists of Anthrax, Megadeth, Metallica and Slayer, all of whom have helped shaped metal for almost 30 years and have, in some capacity, have played with each other in various pairs and at different festivals. This, however, makes the first time that all four bands would actually tour with each other as they will tour Europe from June to August.
More than likely, you probably will not be Europe to experience that but on June 22, you can see it in a local movie theater. Their performances will be broadcast via satellite from Sofia, Bulgaria. Tickets for the screenings are on sale here and I would suggest buying one. How often will you get to Dave Mustaine share the same stage with his former Metallica bandmates? Probably never again so it is best that you see it this one time.
