Looking back, the title seems a bit sarcastic but I assure you that it is not. Yes, according to fine folks at Pitchfork, Duran Duran's self-titled debut and Seven And The Ragged Tiger are being reissued as two CD, one DVD sets. Each of the disc contains the original versions of the albums, a bonus disc of b-sides, singles, demos, live material and remixes, and a DVD containing live performances and music videos.
This must be said given that Duran Duran was reissued after Rio became a hit and included "Is There Something I Should Know" which is now on the second disc of Seven And The Ragged Tiger. This is great because that song never fit into the vibe of the first album since it was not apart of the first album to begin with and way too poppy in comparison to the other material. Awesome, yes, but I am getting away from the point which is that this is well, awesome. Duran Duran and Seven And The Ragged Tiger are due in stores on March 30.
Check out Pitchfork for track listings and remember to pick up these great reissues on March 30. I mean if you have the money that day, "why don't you do use it."
