Seriously, I'm starting to believe that someone or something is raiding my record collection. In fact, I believe it is the bands I listened to that are doing the raiding. Case, in point, Atari Teenage Riot is reuniting for a few shows this Summer and releasing a new single, their first in about nine years.
Yes, the group brought you such awesome songs as "Speed," "Sick To Death" and "Deutschland Has Gotta Die" is active once more and preparing for a series of Summer performances in London (according to Pitchfork) and will release a brand new single entitled "Reactivate" on May 17. The lineup is that of the late 90's lineup featuring Alec Empire, Hanin Elias and Nic Endo. Carl Crack who passed away in 2001 will be replaced by MC CX Kidtronik. Somehow, given all the changes in the world over the last 10 years, it seems only appropriate that Atari Teenage Riot reunites now. If this reunion continues, I am sure they will have a lot to say.
