According to
Pitchfork, Wu-Tang Clan member, GZA, is working on the sequel to his 1995 classic,
Liquid Swords with with cousin and fellow Wu-Tang member, RZA, producing. According to RZA's twitter, the sequel is set to be released this Fall.
Liquid Swords stands as one of the best Wu-Tang albums (solo or group) and spawned from the impressive first wave of Wu-Tang solo albums recorded between their debut,
Enter The Wu-Tang, and their sophomore album,
Wu-Tang Forever.
The first wave also included stellar albums such as Method Man's
Tical, Raekwon's
Only Built 4 Cuban Linx, Ol' Dirty Bastard's
Return To The 36 Chambers, Ghostface Killah's
Ironman and RZA as a member of Gravediggaz and their release,
6 Feet Deep. Good luck, however, on topping the original artwork.
Check out these tracks...
