The lineup for the 2012 Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival was announced earlier today. This year's features headlining spots from Radiohead, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Phish and The Beach Boys. Taking place June 7-10, this year's lineup also includes The Roots, The Shins, Black Star, Alice Cooper, Ludacris, Ben Folds Five, Childish Gambino, Das Racist, The Joy Formidable, Phantogram and recent Grammy winners Bon Iver and Civil Wars among others. Wow this lineup is so much weaker than I expected. Definitely no wow factor. Coachella by far has a superior lineup. The bottom of this lineup alone isn't enough to get me to fork out the dough to get down there and deal with the long lines, heat, etc. Sasquatch is decent this year but not great. Damn I really wanted to avoid Lolla this year but I may not have a choice.
