In Case You Missed It: Melvins' Dale Crover On The Howard Stern Show???
In what had to be one of the coolest and strangest moments on radio, Dale Crover of Melvins made an appearance, via phone, on yesterday's edition of The Howard Stern Show to discuss Nirvana, drumming royalties and Melvins' forthcoming live album, Sugar Daddy Live
. I am not sure what more can really be said about it other than Stern questioned if he regretted not joining Nirvana and fans called in to praise Crover. Listen to the audio after the jump of Dale Crover appearance on the May 9. 2011 edition of The Howard Stern Show.

Re-Bleaching Nirvana
Next week, the reissue of Nirvana's debut album, Bleach, will arrive in stores (see: Bleach (20th Anniversary Edition) for details). Just in time for it's release, Seattle Weekly has taken the time to discuss the importance of this album through a series of articles and interviews with the album's producer, Jack Endino, as well two interviews conducted by former Nirvana bassist Krist Novoselic and featuring the album's two drummers, Dale Crover (Melvins) and Chad Channing (Before Cars). Links to the articles can be found after the jump.

Finish The Album...Please!!!
Anyone who has partied or hung out with me knows that the love for Rock Band goes deep. It's become one quintessential elements of life that make it worth living like sex, ice cream and and watching Cool As Ice. And anyone that knows me knows that this Tuesday, Pearl Jam is the band of the day, hell, the week. In addition to the release of the remastered, remixed and re-liner notated edition of their 1991 debut, Ten, the same album will appear on Rock Band that day. This is a sweet addition to a game that has brought us albums from Judas Priest, The Cars, Pixies, Megadeth, Rush, and Red Hot Chili Peppers. Now, at any time of the day, people can freely cry out "Jeremy spoken class is dead" (it's close enough to original and probably what the one drunk person at your party will sing when it's playing) and many other misquoted Pearl Jam lyrics. Seeing as how something as essential as Ten is being released, I started wondering about other albums on the game that have two or more songs yet, for whatever reasons, do not have full albums. Here's a list of five albums that should be released in their enitrety at some point.
Labels:
David Bowie,
Nirvana,
Pearl Jam,
Rock Band,
Smashing Pumpkins,
System Of A Down,
The Clash
