The Post Punk Pop Sounds Of Big Science At Fireside Bowl Tonight

Tonight at Fireside Bowl, Big Science will be preparing you for their forthcoming full-length album, Difficulty, with a sound that demands your attention. In 2010, the Chicago quartet released an EP entitled Skyscraper Sound that combines infectious pop hooks with jerky dance rhythms and a modern post-punk sound. The combination of these sounds and the band's impressive musicianship entwined themselves into five stellar tracks especially on the standout tracks, "1000 Years" and "Flags". This EP became one of the better sleeper releases in recent history and allowed the band to open for the like of Les Savvy Fav. With a new album on the horizon, lead by exceptional lead-off single, "No One Ever Wakes Up", Big Science are making huge waves in 2012.
