Can't say I'm too excited about what January has to offer I guess. I did pick up the new SafetySuit CD, which is OK, and also Elvis Country (Legacy Edition) which features both of his remastered country albums plus 6 bonus tracks. The King baby!
ReplyDeleteFebruary looks pretty awesome though.
January and December are usually slower months with it being the beginning and end of the year and all. I'm tempted to get the Bowie reissue just because I miss him releasing new material. I just found a copy of the Cheyenne Marie Mize EP when it was initially released on Roaring Colonel. Since it's being re-released this month on another label and on vinyl, I'll more than likely pick that up. I haven't had a chance to check out February yet and so the one thing I do know about and am excited for is a new Jenny Owen Youngs album.
ReplyDeleteCheck out Anthony Green's release too, Beautiful Things on Jan 17th. My man Chino Moreno sings on a track! I also like saying Chino Moreno outloud.

As do I. This song is awesome. I'll add it to the list. Thanks. I forgot about another album I'm excited about next month. The new Band of Skulls album comes out at the end of the month which, from the tracks I've heard, is going to be great. The new Van Halen album is supposed to be out next month as well but since Michael Anthony isn't playing bass with them, I doubt I'll care about 3/4 of the original lineup.
